The title of the second national baseball five championships has been won by Bagmati Province. Bagmati won the title by defeating Sudurpaschim 14-8 in the final.
The competition had the participation of 8 teams including 7 provincial and university teams, informed Surendra Thapaliya, the coordinator of the organizing committee and the vice president of Nepal Baseball and Softball Association. Lumbini secured the third position in the competition. The winner of the competition received a prize of 30,000 rupees, the runner-up received 20,000 rupees and the team that came third received 10,000 rupees. Dipes Majhi of Bagmati was declared the best player. Koshi Province, which came fourth, received a consolation prize of 10,000 rupees, which was sponsored personally by Sunita Thapa, a member of the association. The winning team and players were awarded prizes by chief guest and Nepal Olympic Committee President Rajiv Shrestha, among others. The prize distribution ceremony also saw Nepal Olympic Committee Secretary and Nepal Basketball Association President Bhim Singh Gurung, among others, awarding prizes.
During the game, there was the presence of Education and Sports Ministry's Secretary Office Chief Nishan Maharjan, among others.
