23 Vaisakh, Kathmandu. The main opposition party, Nepali Congress, has decided to protest the constitutional council ordinance in the parliamentary meeting. The parliamentary party meeting held at Singhdarbar on Wednesday decided to protest the constitutional ordinance brought by the government, said Chief Whip Bishwa Prakash Sharma. 'We will protest the constitutional council ordinance,' he said. He informed that the next strategy will be decided based on how the government will move forward after their protest in parliament. 'After we protest, they will take it, and then we will move forward,' he said. Also, he informed that today's meeting also discussed the ordinances related to public procurement and public officials' resignation brought by the government. He said that they will also present their views on this in parliament.
