May 31, Kathmandu. The government has formed a committee to study and investigate the public concerns raised when former Home Minister Sudan Gurung was a minister and after that.
The Council of Ministers meeting on May 14 decided to form a committee with former judge of the High Court Achyut Prasad Bhandari as the chairman, Auditor General Shobhakant Poudel and Additional Attorney General Achyutmani Neupane as members.
The committee has been given the responsibility to investigate the facts and truths of the issues raised publicly regarding former Home Minister Gurung, who is also a member of the House of Representatives, and submit a report with recommendations to the government within 15 days.
