Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) President Rabi Lamichhane has called for rising above the traditional boundaries of the ruling party and the opposition in times of disaster and standing united before the world community for climate justice on the basis of national unity and humanity.
Speaking at today's meeting of the House of Representatives, President Lamichhane said that everyone was united in the Bhotekoshi disaster and that the country should seek a future based on conscience and humanity.

He also urged people not to make unwanted comments on social media against the victims, saying that action would be taken if RSWP cadres were involved in such actions.
Lamichhane urged everyone to accept the constructive suggestions coming from the opposition in disaster management and not to do politics in the name of disaster.
Stating that citizens affected by the climate crisis are victims of climate injustice, he said that the world community should strongly raise its voice for climate justice. He also praised the security personnel and rescuers deployed in the rescue and expressed gratitude for the support provided by the private sector, media sector, non-resident Nepalis and friendly countries.
