Some parts of the country are experiencing heavy rain with thunderstorms

Kathmandu – According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall with thunderstorms in some places on Monday. According to the department, it will be generally cloudy throughout the country today. There is a forecast of bad weather in some areas of the mountainous and hilly regions of the country, including the Far West and Lumbini provinces. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, gusts of wind, and snowfall in one or two places in the rest of the Tarai region, while there is a possibility of heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and gusts of wind in one or two places in the Far West and Karnali provinces. It will be generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, gusts of wind, and snowfall in some places of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Far West provinces, and in a few places in the rest of the provinces. The department has stated that there is a possibility of heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and gusts of wind in one or two places in Lumbini province.
